On March 23rd the Emergency Management Dept held a Volunteer Appreciation dinner to thank CERT members for all of their dedication and hours of service in 2009.  The event was held at the Haverhill School, with a delicious dinner served up by the B.A.S.E. organization (a group that supports Bluestem schools). Certificates of appreciation were presented to the CERT members, the 2009 Volunteer of the Year award was presented to Kevin Worrell, and various special guests stood up to offer their thanks for for CERT's assistance.
