"STORM FURY ON THE PLAINS"

It's that time of year again! The National Weather Service's annual Severe Weather Awareness/Storm Spotter Training for Butler County has been officially scheduled. Check out the details below and then mark your calendars!

Class date/time:        Wednesday, March 14th, 2012 at 6:30 pm.

Class location:           Augusta High School - Auditorium
                                      2020 N. Ohio, Augusta

This training is open to the public and is offered free of charge. No pre-registration is required... if you are interested in learning more about how severe weather works and how to keep yourself and your family safe when storms are threatening, come on down for a fun and informative evening!

If you can't make it to the main event in Augusta, there will be other opportunities around the county to catch this training. Every year, Emergency Management offers to present this severe weather class to businesses, senior centers, schools, fire departments, etc. Some of these organizations open their training sessions up to the general public.
