Kansas, "The Land of Oz," is notorious for storms.  Thunderstorms, ice storms, lightning, floods, tornadoes, and earthquakes give our great state a twist.  When disaster strikes, are you prepared for the worst?  Can you even begin to imagine life without telephones, internet, water, food, a place to live, or even no family to go home to?  Being prepared can help save lives and reduce the effects of disasters.  After all, living in Kansas, you never know what Mother Nature will blow your way!
